About Greece

Below are just a few important information for exciting tours you can experience in and around Greece and Ionian Islands. The delightful country of Greece welcomes travelers all year round. Greece he has many challenging options (mainland and/or island). Wonderful landscapes, world heritage monuments, religious pilgrimages, vibrant traditional culture, intense social life, important cultural events and all kinds of sports activities are just some of Greece’s attractions.

The Ionian islands scattered along the western coastline of Central Greece have a mild and temperate climate which makes them the ideal location for vacation or residence. They are an island cluster comprising twelve small and large islands whose total surface area comes to 2,200 square kilometers. Zakynthos, Ithaca, Corfu (Kerkyra), Kefalonia, Lefkada, and Paxi are the six, large Ionian Islands. Antipaxi, Erikousa, Mathraki, Othoni, Meganisi and the deserted islets of Strofades south of Zakynthos are the smaller Ionian Islands. For more detailed information you can visit the official tourism web site for Greece (www.visitgreece.gr), run by the Greek National Tourism Organisation, where you'll find information on the main tourist destinations, such as cities, beaches, as well as activities, events and much more!
